Arrowhead Contracting was established in 1990 and has spent over 35 years executing technically demanding environmental and construction programs for federal agencies. Our work tends to happen where conditions are difficult and requirements are strict: remote sites, active installations, regulated waste streams, and projects where schedule, safety, and compliance carry equal weight.
We operate across three platforms: environmental remediation, civil and clean construction, and security infrastructure. Roughly 90 percent of our revenue comes from the federal market, delivered as a prime contractor, as a subcontractor to large engineering and management firms, and through joint ventures. We have completed work in all 50 states and most U.S. territories.
Arrowhead self-performs the majority of its field work with a direct-hire professional and craft workforce, supported by a nationwide vendor network. We maintain DCAA-compliant accounting systems, hold CMMC Level 2 certification, and carry bonding capacity sized for large multi-year programs. Our senior management team brings more than 100 combined years of federal contracting experience.

Our Services
Environmental Remediation
Arrowhead executes CERCLA and RCRA removal, remedial, and response actions on technically complex federal sites. Our scope includes contaminated soil excavation, treatment, and disposal; in-situ and ex-situ chemical treatment; soil vapor extraction and in-situ thermal remediation; and design-build of groundwater extraction and treatment systems with long-term operations and maintenance. We perform radiological and low-level radioactive waste work, including soil sorting, volume reduction, packaging, and licensed off-site disposal, along with abandoned mine reclamation covering uranium mine waste removal, tailings excavation, and mine feature closure. Site closure work includes landfill capping, engineered cap systems, demolition, and revegetation.
Civil and Clean Construction
Arrowhead delivers civil works and clean construction under both design-build and bid-build arrangements. Our civil portfolio centers on flood control and water resource infrastructure: levee repair and reconstruction, hydraulic relief wells, slope stabilization, embankment protection, and stream and habitat restoration. On the construction side, we build and upgrade facilities and site infrastructure, including utility systems, foundations, and sitework, frequently on active installations where access control and operational continuity govern the schedule. We also provide construction management support, including inspection, surveying, materials testing, and commissioning, on programs requiring field oversight rather than self-performed construction.
Security Infrastructure
Arrowhead builds and upgrades the physical infrastructure that protects federal facilities and personnel. Our work includes force protection and facility hardening, perimeter systems such as fencing, gates, and vehicle barriers, blast-resistant window and door assemblies, and the civil and structural work supporting them. We install and integrate detection and monitoring systems, including radiation portal monitors, CBRN detection and alarm systems, collective protection HVAC controls, and supporting communications infrastructure. This work is performed within secure, operational environments, often outside normal business hours so facilities remain functional throughout construction.
SBA 8(a) Certification
Arrowhead Contracting Group, LLC is a certified participant in the U.S. Small Business Administration's 8(a) Business Development Program, with a program term running through 2035. As a tribally owned entity, Arrowhead is eligible for sole-source awards above the thresholds that apply to individually owned 8(a) firms, giving federal agencies a direct path to award on requirements that match our capabilities.

Arrowhead Contracting Group, LLC delivers through the workforce, equipment, and project record of its wholly owned subsidiary, Arrowhead Contracting, LLC, the same team that has restored Superfund sites for EPA, reclaimed abandoned mine lands across the Navajo Nation, and constructed security infrastructure along the nation's borders.
